Ant Bear 2550

APPLICATION TECHNIQUE

Every fire ant nest has a central vertical shaft that leads directly to the chamber where the queens live. Fog enters the nest by inserting the Ant Bear lance into the mound to locate a vertical shaft.
Once located, fog is injected into the shaft, A natural venturi effect in the mound rapidly draws the fog directly to the bottom chamber. Having killed the queens the fog then permeates up through the lateral tunnels, killing all the forager ants.
When fog is escaping through all of the exit tunnels the application is complete. It normally takes only a few minutes to treat each mound. Each Ant Bear is shipped with a 10-minute training video and manual, as well as a nozzle cleaning tool and spare can seals.

The Imported Fire Ant, a native of Central and South America, is found in many parts of the Southeast, Southwest, and Western United States, It attacks humans, animals, birds, and many other species in its search for Proein. The Fire Ant uses its toxic venom to sting its prey and the result is painful and dramatic.

When combined with the Earthlire insecticide, the Ant Bear offers a quick eradication of the nest with the entire Fire Ant colony being killed within minutes of the application. During the application, the fog is drawn quickly down to the bottom of the nest to kill the queen before she escapes. Eliminating the queen stops the life cycle of the nest and ensures that it cannot regenerate.

The Ant Bear is powered by a standard 14 oz. propane cylinder. Fog is created by injecting the Earthfire aerosol insecticide into the vaporizing chamber. The dense fog then flows through the lance to the nozzle where it is injected at a high velocity into the ant nest.
